This sauce is delicious! I’d love to know if we can buy additional jars!

Hi Dana– absolutely you can buy extra jars! You can either place a special order (called “Traditional Tomato Sauce” in our online store– we have quarts and pints for sale) or buy some at the stops if there are jars available. If you have any issues placing a Special Order, please just write to info@freshforkmarket.com and we’ll get you set up! Thanks so much and enjoy the sauce!

We’re fairly new to FF and this is the first time we got tomato sauce…does it need to be refrigerated? how long is it good for? Thanks.

Hi Laurie– welcome to the Fork! The sauce, as long as the canning seal is intact and the pressure bubble on the lid isn’t popped, is shelf stable. Once open, store in fridge and use within a week. To keep it fresh between uses, press a layer of cling wrap to the surface of the sauce or portion the jar into individual servings with snug lids for less exposure. However it’s only about 2 cups, so we usually use a whole jar when making dinner! Enjoy!
