Step 1: CHECK WEEKLY EMAIL FOR BAG CONTENTS, FARM STORIES, PRODUCT FEATURES, COOKING TECHNIQUES, RECIPES & MORE!

Our weekly newsletter is sent out on Tuesday afternoons. Check your spam/junk folders and set our email address to go to your "Primary" inbox or "not junk/spam" or VIP.

Step 2: PICK-UP TIME + BRING YOUR OWN BAG/TOTE/CARRYING CASE

We pre-pack your weekly share at our warehouse in a liner bag in a reusable tote that stays with us. These liner bags are not sturdy enough to handle a trip from the check-in table to your car (sometimes corn + cabbage + melons are in 1 bag and that gets heavy!). Please bring your own carrying bag/tote/box to transfer the contents in. 2 bags is usually best for all share sizes and up to 3 for the large share.
Carrying Case Favorites: the traditional canvas bags that just about every business has given away at some point, laundry baskets (they're shallow and wider than most bags so when the mid-summer bulk items come in things don't get smashed), collapsible storage crates (sturdy + easy to store in your vehicle), cooler bags/totes for meat, and even printer paper case boxes.

Step 3: CHECK IN WITH OUR TEAM OF GREETERS

All we need is the name on your account -- usually last name is all we need. Sometimes we may ask for the email address associated with your account to locate your account details quicker.

Step 4: REVIEW BAG CONTENTS + TELL US IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL ORDER

A list of BAG CONTENTS will be posted on the tables at check in for reference when transferring contents into your own carrying case. Most items will match the list as expected, but sometimes we do have to make a last minute substitution if an item didn't come in as planned. This is also handy to review as your transferring items so that in the event that there's an issue (it's not often, but it happens...a missing item or quality issue) we can resolve it on the spot.
SPECIAL ORDERS (placed by Tuesday at midnight will deliver "this week") are packed separate from your weekly share, so please let us know at check-in that you have a special order. We'll call up for it on the truck and hand it to you in addition to your regular share.

Step 5: ENJOY & CONTINUE THE COOKING ADVENTURE AT HOME

This is our favorite step of the process -- we love to see what you're making! Tell our greeters about what you made and/or tag us on Facebook/Instagram (@freshforkmarket).

Online shop + special orders

Once you have an active subscription, you'll have access to our online shop where you can purchase a variety of additional grocery items every week. If you join mid-season, please note that the online shop items will become available the Sunday of the week start for your subscription.

WHAT'S AVAILALBE FOR PURCHASE?

Extra produce, fruits, pasture raised meats, grass-grazed dairy products (milk, cheese & yogurt), pasture raised eggs, local grains, jams/jellies, sauces/spreads/salsa, baked goods & more!

 

ORDER DEADLINE = TUESDAY AT 11:59PM

To receive your order "this week", your order must be placed by Tuesday at 11:59pm. For example, orders placed by Tuesday, June 1 will be delivered Wed. June 2 - Sat. June 5. If your order is placed after the deadline, it will not be available until the following week.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS GET DELIVERED TO YOUR PRIMARY LOCATION LISTED IN YOUR PROFILE

Your order will be available for pick-up at your primary location only. If you miss pick-up, we unfortunately aren't able to transfer orders to another location or re-send the following week (it's more complicated than it probably sounds...)

If you forgot to place a special order or want something extra on a whim, we set up a Farmers-Market-like display at all pick-up locations. There will always be a variety of extra milk, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, pasture raised meats (staple items like ground beef, sausage links, breakfast meats), canned items and baked goods. Take a look at the chalkboard signs set up on display + signage at the check-in tables.

You can pay for your extra items with check, FFM store credits or your credit card saved on file. 

FFM Credits

FFM credits are an easy way to pay for extra items (treated like cash, makes for a speedier check-out and can be used for online purchases, too). Credits can be purchased at pick-up and are available for use right away! You can purchase credits multiple times throughout the season.

Credits are available in various levels -- $50, $100, $250, $400, $550

Credits can be used online or in-person

Credits expire at the end of the season

 

oops...i forgot to pick-up my share!

Life happens and last minute schedule conflicts come up. If you miss your regular pick-up time (or you missed the vacation deadline and you know you can pick up earlier or later in the week), you are welcome to stop at any of our 20+ locations Wednesday - Saturday.

 

We pack the trucks with a few extra shares to give some flexibility for picking up. You don't have to notify us either -- we'll be able to easily look up your account details when you arrive at any location! Full list of Summer locations can be found HERE.

 

You can also send a friend/family member in your place for pick-up. All they need to know if the name on your account + email address.

I'm going on vacation - can i place a hold?

Yes, of course! As long as you submit a vacation hold in your account by the Saturday prior to your vacation, you'll receive a credit for the missed share upon your return. You can submit a vacation hold from the "Vacations" tab in your account.

 

Once you return from vacation, FFM store credits will be available for use online or at pick-up. Be sure to spend at least $1 within the first four weeks of your return. Credits left untouched for four weeks start to lose value. Once you start spending at least $1, credits will last until the end of the season.

 

If you're on the Weekly Payment Plan, your payment will still process and you will receive the credits as  "refund" upon your return (it's part of the tech logic for our payment processing system).

 

We are unable to accommodate refunds/credits for missed shares after the deadline. More information can be found HERE.
