Winter Share 2012-13 – Week 3

This week is both a Winter CSA delivery and the Thanksgiving turkey/package delivery.  Please double check the pickup days and times.   I have tried to plan the Week 3 Winter CSA accordingly, being that you just picked up week 2 a few days ago and Thanksgiving is around the corner…and no one needs to go buy a second fridge just for this!

 

Tuesday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Westlake, Beachwood, and Solon

Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Lakewood, Cleveland Heights, and Hudson

 

Wednesday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM – Tremont

Wednesday, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM –  Middleburg Heights, Brecksville, Copley, and Mentor

 

About changing locations:  We recognize that the middle of the day pickup times likely aren’t ideal.  At the same time we have lots of customers traveling and/or getting Thanksgiving packages, so this is either very convenient for you or not at all.

 

Anyhow, you are welcome to visit switch locations without alerting us.  We are expecting 25% more on Tuesday than usual so we are packing the trucks accordingly.

Winter Week 3:

 

2# butter from grass grazed cattle

1# pumpkin sage or rosemary spelt linguini

1 pint maple syrup

1 pint made-from-scratch bloody mary mix from Clark Pope Catering

2# all purpose flour (blend of hard and soft winter wheats with bran removed to make it “softer”)

1 head cauliflower or celery (we are hoping for celery but the cold nights might have ruined that)

1 bag mixed greens/salad greens

1# onions

1 dz eggs

1 head bok choy

1 stalk brussels sprouts

1 quarter peck empire apples
